As early as 2011, the private Indonesian law firm which provided legal assistance to Mary Jane Veloso had already requested the Aquino government to investigate Kristina Sergio, Mary Jane’s illegal recruiter. To their dismay, the law firm found out that the BS Noynoy gov’t started investigating only after the judicial review on March 25 2015.
